An intensive care unit (ICU) hospital bed is a bed specially designed for long term care patients with severe and life-threatening illnesses and injuries. These beds have common features include adjustable height for the entire bed, the head, and the feet, adjustable side rails, and electronic buttons to operate both the bed and other nearby electronic devices. Futher features are attendant control panel, electric weight scale, X-ray examination, trendelenburg/Rev. trendelenburg and auto-chair function. It helps care workers treat patient complications during recovery.
